  • Description: Even though the adopted son of a businessman is not favored by his father, he runs the family business. He is secretly in love with his cousin’s wife, and when she asks him to suggest thirty workers to dismiss so that she can settle her debts, he cannot refuse. Among those he singles out for dismissal is Petros, who works very hard to provide for his sick wife’s medicine. When the adopted son is found murdered, Petros is accused of the crime and has to prove that he is innocent.
